Children today might not grow up with the freedom we were afforded when we were young. But today's technology could assist giving children back some of their freedom and peace-of-mind to their parents.
Our research quickly demonstrated that for younger children, between 5 and 10, a smartphone was not suitable. That led us to build SPOT. A tracking device and mobile app, that uses GPS, Wi-Fi and BLE sensors to inform parents where their child is at any-time.
